Progress Rail currently performs locomotive maintenance services around the world. Progress Rail’s locomotive maintenance services can save fleet owners up to 15 percent or more over a locomotive’s life cycle. As part of our commitment to operational efficiency and reliability, our global support knows no boundaries – and ranges from Maintenance Service Agreements to OEM parts supply and technical support programs. For the United Kingdom, we maintain EMD® Class 66 locomotives through our Doncaster, England facility and other facilities in Germany and the Netherlands. We provide full parts and technical support and have partnered with a regional customer to ensure in-country maintenance is held to the highest standards. In Australia, our collaboration with Downer Rail for contract maintenance ensures optimum local and OEM product support. Our extensive rolling stock maintenance operations throughout Queensland includes the Progress Rail Redbank workshop in Brisbane, where we perform rolling stock component overhauls and warehouse parts. We also have a host of other operations in Australia to support customer performance.
